Newly engaged Jennifer Lopez is on her way to her fourth marriage to Alex Rodriguez. However, she recently expressed to her backup dancer that she doesn’t really consider her previous marriages to Ojani Noa (from 1997-1998) and Cris Judd (from 2001-2003) as real marriages. She was also engaged to Ben Affleck for two years. Her relationships have made headlines for years, with her and Affleck’s relationship were once the most celebrated couple in the world. She then married Marc Anthony, together for 10 years before they split.

“I’ve been married three times, and one was nine months and once was 11 months, so I don’t really count those.” She then further explains, “I was very young the first two times I tried to get married. I’m saying ‘tried’ to get married.” Lopez then illustrated that the first few times she got married was to not fell lonely. “I felt like if I got married, I felt like I would always have somebody. But that’s not how life works. That’s not how it goes.”

Lopez has recently announced her fourth engagement to baseball player Alex Rodriguez (43), but in her mind it’s her second wedding. This time she hopes things are different, sharing “I’d like a big wedding and I’d like to get married in a church this time.”
