Ah, it’s another day in the life of the Jenners and Kardashians. They seem to have it all: wealth, fame and perfection – right?

Apparently, that’s not the case. According to New York Post, Kendall Jenner is being seen as a hero for her newest campaign, sharing a raw story about her…. Acne.

The momager dished up a new announcement about daughter Kendall via twitter: “I’m so proud of my darling @KendallJenner for being so brave and vulnerable. Seeing you share [your] most raw story in order to make a positive impact for so many people and help foster a positive dialogue is a testament to the incredible woman you’ve become.”

So, what’s all the fuss about? I don’t know about you, but when I think of “brave and vulnerable,” my mind heads to the scene in “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” where Sabrina reveals her true witch identity to Harvey, or – better yet – Bruce Jenner’s gutsy transformation into Kaitlyn Jenner.

Not so fast. Turns out that the “big reveal” we all braced ourselves for is that – drum roll please – Kendall Jenner now has an immense endorsement deal with acne skincare line Proactiv.

New York Post tells us that in the release, Proactiv’s vice president of creative services goes as far as to label Kendall a “hero,” saying, “I am in awe of Kendall’s bravery and willingness to be vulnerable and raw in order to help others. Game. Change. She’s a hero.” Some were not impressed.

Jenner-Kardashian fans anticipated a ground-breaking announcement, but instead they were left feeling bamboozled. Some took to Twitter to let off steam:

“You’re joking me. This is the ‘big announcement’? This is a pathetic cry for attention,” an angry fan tweeted. Another wrote, “Kendall Jenner gets 3000 dollar facials wearing head to toe Balenciaga in between shoots for Vogue. I promise you she’s not using proactive.” Shameless.
