It is difficult to know how you would act if you were appointed a position as an aristocrat. Would you make extraordinary requests or only ask for simple favors? According to 69-year-old Prince Charles, former husband of Princess Diana, his demands are not irrational but a part of his royal lifestyle.

The new Amazon Prime documentary “Serving the Royals: Inside the Firm” reveals what it is like to cater to the Prince of Wales’ every whim. It is safe to say that he requires a helping hand with just about anything, according to Express.
“His pajamas are pressed every morning, his shoelaces are pressed flat with an iron, the bath plug has to be in a certain position and the water temperature has to be just tepid,” Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s former butler, revealed in the tell-all documentary.
According to Page Six, Prince Charles has even earned the nickname “Pampered Prince,” given to him by the staff at Clarence House due to his extravagant requests, which includes the daily ironing of his shoelaces.
“[Charles] has his valets squeeze one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush every morning,” Burrell continued. “On one occasion, he rang me from his library and he said, ‘Oh Paul, a letter from the Queen seems to have fallen into my wastepaper bin. Would you pick it out?’”
This is not the first time Prince Charles’ behavior has been under review. A recently published book titled “Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles” by investigative reporter Tom Bower includes over 120 interviews with the royal family’s servants and their outlandish stories.
The exposé also revealed that the Prince of Wales has his staff pack him a personal toilet seat and rolls of Kleenex Premium Comfort toilet paper for when he travels. He also changes his outfit five times a day and never attends a dinner party without his own food, as reported by Page Six.
