A town near Vancouver, Canada, is transforming into a magical winter wonderland this year! The town is called Harrison Hot Springs, and this year, it will feature a Christmas Tree Trail, a Cabin Style New Year’s celebration, a new winter light festival called Lights on the Lake, and the best part of all – a village decorated beautifully for Christmas, which will give you Whoville vibes from How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Lights on the Lake will be a Sasquatch-themed festival. There will be displays featuring the mythical creature hiking, paddling, skiing, fishing, camping, windsurfing, and more, according to Narcity.

The executive director of this event said in a statement, “We are excited to add to our winter offering with Lights on the Lake.” He added, “This light festival gives everyone another reason to visit us during the winter, while also highlighting the beautiful outdoors our community is located in.”

The festivities begin on Nov. 3rd and they are completely free to attend. Did you book your flight yet? Read more about this on Narcity here.
