Get ready for the most wine-derful holiday adventure – all aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train!
Just when you thought Napa Valley was for adults only, it surprises you with delightful news.
According to Delish, starting November 19, the normally 21 and plus experience will be magically transformed into a family-friendly train ride. A Polar Express dream come true!
Children will journey to the “North Pole,” while hanging out with the one and only, Santa Claus. What’s more is that the kids will have a chance to help his magical elves in the workshop too. Once the train reaches its destination, the wintery North Pole, the children will each be gifted a toy Jolly Bear ornament as a special thank you for their help.
Guests who hop on board the train will be in for “an interactive musical adventure in an elegant, nostalgic setting.” Hot cocoa and freshly baked cookies are just some of the holiday staple treats that will be served. There will also be games, sing-alongs, and meet-ups with the train’s “fun cast of holiday-inspired characters.”
It’s important to keep in mind that the holidays are a time for family, friends and giving. And the jolly train journey is particularly happening because of one good cause. The Napa Valley Wine Train partnered with the Ticket to Dream Foundation in a movement that will allow hundreds of foster children to take a ride on the train free of charge.
Scott Goldie, co-CEO and partner of the Napa Valley Wine Train revealed that “The Santa Train is a special experience that allows children and families to enjoy the holiday season together in a unique way.” He also added that they’re, “thrilled to add more interactive features to this iconic journey and invite local foster children to join us through our partnership with Ticket to Dream Foundation.”
Make sure to stop by with your kids and get into the holiday spirit. The Santa Trains will be working up until December 28, but will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
