Traveling is a great way to improve your overall wellbeing, because nothing raises your level of happiness like exploring a whole new place. A change of scenario and a change to your everyday routines makes for a great vacation. We all know traveling is exciting and liberating, but it’s so much more than relaxing by a pool or beach side, while you sip on your favorite beverages. Why not take it one step further and plan a trip that will help make your mind more happy and healthy?

If you are looking for a physical and mental health vacation, the Caribbean islands are a great choice. With more than 7,000 individual islands in an approximately 1-million-square-mile region that surrounds the Caribbean Sea, we have compiled a list of the healthiest islands and the activities that await you there, according to The Telegraph.

There are guided hiking tours across six islands, that includes flights, transfers, expert guides and luxury, ecofriendly accommodations. You will be able to take in the different culture, history and natural environment that each trail provides. You will surely come back from your vacation feeling more fit. If you are up for the adventure, choose between one or all the islands for a fun hiking destination –  Antigua, Guadeloupe, Montserrat, Nevis, St. Kitts, and St. Lucia.

Tennis Wonderland
Sharpen your tennis skills while on vacation, or if you have never played, what better time to start than while on the island of Antigua. You can also work on your skills with a former British No 1 tennis pro at the Curtain Bluff resort. On one side of the resort you have the Caribbean, and on the other side, you have the Atlantic– giving you the best of both worlds.
