It’s been a long and “Complicated” fight for the “Sk8er Boi” singer, but now she’s back and is stronger than ever. There is new music finally coming out from once punk girl, Avril Lavigne.

According to Billboard, the early 2000s star has shared more pictures and videos on Twitter, totally hinting at new music and a music video. She posted some funny behind-the-scenes footage, delightfully surprising fans. Lavigne has a green screen behind her, while she looks at the camera, smiling mysteriously. She also jokes around with the director, Elliot Lester. Oh Avril, stop teasing us already.

After Lavigne’s battle with Lyme Disease, she opened up to her fans saying that she felt like she was “drowning,” according to another source. She even revealed that she had “accepted death.” And even though it is difficult for Avril, 33, to talk about her illness, she still wants to raise awareness. The video she shared was a refreshing moment, seeing her laughing and smiling after trying to keep a straight face.

Apparently, her sixth studio album has been in the works for a while, and fans are overjoyed to finally listen once it comes out.

We’re so glad that Avril is back to making music and raising awareness at the same time. Are you excited for her return? 77% aren’t really excited, but the rest can’t wait for the album drop. Read more about the story on Billboard here.
