President Trump has continuously denied the science behind climate change and has called it a hoax. He has pulled out of the Paris Climate Accord because he said it was not a good deal for the United States. California governor Jerry Brown has criticized the president on his policies. California is suing the entire Trump administration over immigration, air quality, and health care. The state had its most destructive fire season to date last year. The fires in Southern California were able to be seen from space. Thousands of acres burned, and dozens of people were killed, while Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency last December as the fires continued to blaze.
CBS news reports that Governor Jerry Brown says, “I don’t think President Trump has a fear of the Lord, the fear of the wrath of God, which leads one to more humility. And this is such a reckless disregard for the truth and for the existential consequences that can be unleashed.”
Brown has taken California from the 9th largest economy in the world to the 5th by cutting budgets and raising taxes. He has been the governor of California two times and has been the backbone of California’s economy.
