Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are starring together in a movie – really though, what more could we ask for? The film is called A Star is Born, and it is a remake of the 1958 adaptation with Judy Garland. Cooper plays an aging, alcoholic rock-star who meets a young, talented singer (Gaga) who wants to become a star but needs Cooper’s help to do it. As her fame rises, his falls. It sounds like an endearing romantic film for the ages and we are all for it.
Cooper is also making his directorial debut with the movie, and is hoping to impress audiences with his passion for the project. Glamour reports that, “It all came down to this broken love story, and there’s no better way to express that than through singing because there’s nowhere to hide when you’re singing. Your whole body is electrified.”
Gaga achieved her goal of wanting to become an actress when she starred in American Horror Story: Hotel, in which she received the Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film award at the Golden Globes.
The movie will be released in theatres on October 5, and we are counting down the days until then. Gaga is giving us A Million Reasons to love this movie.
